This command will perform an oligonucleotide analysis for sequences between 8 and 100 nucleotides long and send the result to the Output window.

1. Choose Analysis > Oligomer Analysis in the main menu or Sequence Analysis > Oligomer Analysis in the selection contextual menu:

or click on the Oligomer Analysis button in the Sequence toolbar:

2. Open the Output multitab window to access the information on:

• Oligonucleotide sequence

• Reverse complement sequence

• Length

• Content: Percentage of each nucleotide and GC content.

• Molecular weight

• Extension coefficient: in nmole/OD260 and µg/OD260.

• Tm: for PCR.

• GC clamps

• Complexity regions
