Changing the color of a sequence
To highlight the sequence with a particular color, select the sequence to be highlighted, click once on the color chooser icon () in the Sequence Toolbar and click the color to be used. Click on the [-] button to remove any colors. Click on te Close button to close the dialog.
Changing the color of a feature
Select a feature first and then proceed like with sequence. Only the symbols representing a feature are colored and only genes and primers are colorable.
Changing the color of a feature sequence
Select a feature; right-click to open the contextual menu and choose the option Color Feature Sequence... to open the color chooser and color the corresponding sequence.
Changing the preset colors
GenBeans has 35 preset colors accessible from the color chooser; to change those preset colors:
1. Choose the menu Tools > Options from the main menu.
2. Select the Fonts & Colors category.
3. Select the Highlighting subpanel.
4. Change any color that are labeled IBE Color #n, where n is a number between 1 and 35.
4. Close the option window usung the OK button..
